Rings are easiest to make, all it takes is a little bit of money and free time and, voila, you have new, absolutely fabulous ring that is completely unique and no one else has it. And if that is not worth some time I don't know what is.

First you will need a few things:
•Epoxy easy to found in any art\craft store
•Ring base
Available on eBay, craft stores, some jewelry stores, or if you are crafty with jewelry making already, you can take an old ring and refurbish it.

Buy •Watch movements
them on eBay or craft store or walk a bit on flea market or pawn shops, find one you really like

•Beads and nick-nacks
Adding a bit of flair, not just sticking a watch movement to a ring base is awesome . Add some additional gears, beads, zirconia, mini cameos, pieces of wire.
• Ring box
To keep ring upright while you work

Now to start making the ring:
First clean everything with alcohol so epoxy will stick better and not flake off and stick the ring in the ring box.
Now, use epoxy to glue watch movement to ring base

Use epoxy to glue additional nick-nacks to watch movement and side of the ring if you like.
Let it dry for about half an hour
Now, use epoxy to fill little spaces around nick-nacks and watch movement and around the base, make sure you secured everything to everything. Rings are tricky because of, handling things, washing hands and so on, everything needs to be glued tight.
Allow to dry very well, very, very well
Head out the door to show off your ring, and have fun.
